Skin Tags:
Skin tags are small, raised lesions that commonly appear on the face, neck, and underarms. They often have a genetic component and tend to occur more frequently in individuals with a family history of diabetes or insulin resistance. Additionally, skin tags can develop during or after pregnancy and as a result of weight gain.
Moles:
Moles are a prevalent type of skin growth characterized by small, dark brown spots. They are caused by a cluster of pigmented cells. Moles can emerge during childhood and adolescence, with some fading away over time while others persist. It is also possible for moles to develop in adulthood, and as long as they do not exhibit any suspicious characteristics, there is typically no cause for concern.
DPN’s:
DPN’s (Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra) are benign skin growths typically found on the facial skin. While they do not pose any health risks, they can be a cosmetic nuisance. Fortunately, DPN’s can be safely and effectively removed at a clinic without causing scarring, pain, or harm to the surrounding skin.
